5/10/2023 0 Comments Wanted by Mark Millar![]() ![]() Our villain (yes, villain) is Wesley Gibson, who works in an office in the city and lives a pretty miserable existence. As a typical character from this comic would say, Millar's variation on this theme is "in-fucking-credible!". Įver hear that one about how they've already told all the stories? By this time, all the great themes have been written about and all there is left to tell are variations on these themes? I mean, how many 'Boy Meets Girl' movies have there been or will be? How about 'Vigilante Out For Vengeance'? What Millar has here is a variation on another classic theme: 'Rags to Riches'. Let me show you why I think it's such a blast. It's always a good sign when I find myself laughing out loud at the end of a comicbook, and that's exactly what I was doing after reading the six-issue run of Wanted. ![]()

5/10/2023 0 Comments The season sarah maclean series![]() ![]() That was why the scene about midway through this episode where Tom Wambsgans ( Matthew Macfadyen) gave a short monologue to Shiv ( Sarah Snook) away from everyone else was so flooring. ![]() It can't hide their emptiness from us as the audience, but they would persistently try to almost deceive themselves. Some of this is for the purpose of entertainment, as the constant trading of snarky barbs helps to make everything more biting, but these same layers also obscure just how shallow all of them are. While it had always been clear that the various characters were driven by money and the power it brings above all else, rarely would they speak about it so openly. Editor’s Note: This article contains major spoilers for Succession Season 4 Episode 6."If you think that's shallow, why don't you throw out all your stuff for love?" This line from the most recent episode of Succession, which proved to be one of its most revealing and riveting of the season thus far, was also the show at its most honest. ![]() 5/10/2023 0 Comments The Gift by Joanne Clancy![]() ![]() *Insincere (Detective Elizabeth Ireland, Book 2) *Tear Drop (Detective Elizabeth Ireland, Book 1) She is currently working on her twenty-sixth book, INSINCERE (Detective Elizabeth Ireland Crime Thriller Series, Book 2) which is available to pre-order now at Amazon and will be released on October 21st 2015.
